Some RWC volunteers enjoy unexpected perks!

RACERS WHO CARE REALLY VALUES YOUR HELP PLEASE VOLUNTEER!

You have the power to make a positive impact on the lives of many children and teens!

Racers Who Care welcomes people of all ages, from all walks of life, with all levels of education and from all parts of the wider community. Becoming a volunteer for Racers Who Care provides you with:

• Interesting and dynamic work
• A chance to update/expand your experience and skills, or add new skills
• Friendship, social contact, opportunity to expand your network
• An opportunity to play a vital role in life-empowering work
• Expand your resume

Racers Who Care depends on the generosity of volunteers – people like you – to complete our mission. When you volunteer with RACERS WHO CARE you are helping our racers impact the life skills of children and teens through our Quick Tips on Winning in Life, such as: Find a Mentor, Be Flexible with Dreams and Goals, Take the Long View, Learn the Art of Teamwork, and more!

No matter where you work, or what your skill set is, we need your support so that working together with our racers, many more children and teens will receive much needed positive reinforcement.

There are so many ways you, or your group, can support our racers’ wonderful, positive outreach to kids. There are a lot of areas you can help us with. So go on – choose a fun and rewarding activity from those outlined below that fits your interest and schedule – you will really make a difference to our vital, life-skills work.

Volunteers have been supporting the work of the Racers Who Care since its 1993 inception. In fact, with the exception of occasional independent contractors, RWC has been operated solely by volunteers, INCLUDING OUR RACERS, who have contributed many hundreds of hours toward our outreach. RWC
could never have achieved its success to date without their vital input!

The many areas of work that you can take part in include:

• Administrative support – here at our office in Hohenwald, TN.
• Racer Presentation organization and participation
• Fundraising
• Assistance with our annual Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach Field Trip program – Need to be based in greater Los Angeles area
• Marketing
• Public Relations
• Promotion
• Recruiting racers to join us and make presentations
• Photography at racer resentations
• Assistance with set up and organization of our various Racer Presentation Teams
• Expansion to other countries
• Volunteer Recruitment

If you do not see an area here that fits your interest, please let us know how you feel you can
contribute.
